Klinikae

Cloud system that lets health professionals and clinics run their care and their operations in one place: specialty-specific medical records, prescriptions and certificates verifiable by QR code, inventory and a patient portal.

Klinikae works the same for an independent doctor as for a clinic or a polyclinic, and runs in the browser with nothing to install. It covers seven specialties (general medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, otorhinolaryngology, dentistry, dermatology and optometry) that each practice enables as needed. It includes specialty-specific medical records, PDF prescriptions and certificates verifiable by QR code, informed consents, inventory with stock alerts, lab orders, reports, secure links and a patient portal. It is multi-tenant: each clinic sees only its own data, front desk staff cannot see clinical content and every action is logged with who did what and when.

01 · Problem

Many medical records are still kept on paper or loose sheets, and inventory is tracked separately. That leads to lost information, stock errors, illegible prescriptions and weak protection of patient data. The alternatives tend to be heavy desktop software or tools built only for large clinics.

02 · Process

I designed a multi-tenant SaaS with a Next.js 16 + React 19 frontend (static export, Tailwind v4) and a Django 6 + django-ninja + PostgreSQL backend, with data isolated per clinic, roles (front desk, professional, administration) and an audit trail for every action. Documents are generated as PDFs with a QR code that any pharmacy or company can verify without seeing patient data. The interface uses Atkinson Hyperlegible and high contrast in light and dark mode so doses and figures are read without error. I build it with Claude Code and my own harness of rules, agents and quality gates.

03 · Result

Klinikae is live at klinikae.com: the same system serves the independent practice and the polyclinic, each with only the specialties it needs, with no investment in hardware or in-house IT support.
